Trae Young has teamed up with Paddletek to release his first ever signature pickleball paddle and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Trae Young Family Foundation.
The Trae Young Signature Tempest Wave Pro-C was designed by Paddletek in conjunction with Trae and offers a combo of spin, control, and forgiveness. This paddle is composed of PT-700 unidirectional RAW carbon fiber and a 12.7mm core, offering, balance and maneuverability.
Trae is extremely proud of the design and feels it will give players using it, himself included, a competitive edge.
“As an NBA player, anything I do, I want to compete at,” he said. “Pickleball is a way for us athletes to decompress and get away, but also still have that competitive fire.”
