The Trae Young Family Foundation has made a holiday donation to make sure students at the Atlanta Youth Academy are taken care of when they return to school after the holidays.
Throughout the month of January, TYFF is covering every breakfast, lunch, and after school snack for all 143 students at AYA. That covers over 3,000 lunches, over 1,650 hot breakfasts and over 1,900 after-school snacks.
Atlanta Youth Academy was founded in 1997 to serve the spiritual, intellectual, and social needs of Atlanta’s youth, particularly for low-income urban children.
AYA is part of a government program that subsidizes 50 percent of the cost of meals for their students. Instead of the other 50 percent being passed on to students, Atlanta Youth Academy raises funds so all students can have cost free meals at school. The Trae Young Family Foundation is happy to provide those funds for the entire month of January.
