Sunday, December 8th was a special day at the Young Family Athletic Center
The Trae Young Family Foundation teamed with Primetime Transportation and Butterfly’s Touch to sponsor a bike giveaway, benefiting 500 families and their children.
Families drove through and picked up brand new bikes for boys and girls alike to make it a happy holiday season in hundreds of local households.
“This is what the season is about,” Candace Young told News 9. “Earlier we had a kid come through and he said God read my prayer,” Young said, explaining the little boy had asked for a bike for Christmas. “It’s something simple like that, like his day was made, his Christmas was made, and all we had to do is stand out here a little bit in the cold.”
